  • ​This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.
  • Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to sales processing and operations, as well as assisting in identifying process improvements

What you'll do

  • Provides in depth analysis of processing volumes, including issue identification and root cause analysis
  • Develops dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics
  • Works closely with internal teams to coordinate resolutions on production problems, cost reduction initiatives and associated sales reporting/policy/fraud issues
  • Builds consensus with other internal departments such as Sales, aa.com, Information Technology, Legal, Cobrand, and Marketing
  • Assists with transaction level processing audit, disputes and chargebacks
  • Provides in depth analysis of processing volumes, including issue identification and root cause analysis
  • Assists with transaction level processing such as rejects and exceptions
  • Assists with forecast and budget processes

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years related work experience in similar field/position

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Master's or other Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Airline or Travel Agency experience 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Willingness to take initiative and ownership
  • Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems and operational challenges
  • Ability to create process documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management
  • Work in a team environment as well as be successful independently
