Job Description

Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced Roofing Estimator/Project Manager to handle commercial and residential roofing projects from start to finish. This role requires expertise in both estimating and project management, with a strong emphasis on commercial/flat roofing. You'll work in our West Palm Beach office, ensuring projects are estimated accurately and managed efficiently through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating:
• Prepare precise bids for commercial and residential roofing, specializing in commercial/flat roofs.
• Conduct on-site roof inspections to gather all necessary data for estimates.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and material take-offs.
• Utilize Edge estimating software proficiently.
• Secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Present professionally to clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Stay current with South Florida building codes .
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with modified bitumen and TPO systems .
• Project Management:
• Oversee projects from contract award to successful closeout.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive submittal packages, including creating shop drawings.
• Generate accurate purchase orders.
• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Prepare and hand off complete job folders to field operations.
• Perform job cost analysis comparing estimates to actual costs.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in roofing estimating and project management, with a strong background in commercial/flat roofing.
• Proficiency in Roofing Estimating and Edge estimating software is required.
• Ability to perform roof inspections and measurements.
• Experience with submittal packages and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of modified bitumen and TPO roofing systems.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Management experience required.
• Willingness to learn residential estimating if needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
• Full Benefits package.
• Bonus eligibility.
• Paid Time Off: 1 week in year 1, 2 weeks in subsequent years.
