Your Role at a Glance
As a Communications Assistant, you will be a vital part of connecting our organization with the public through community events, informational sessions, and public programs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, preparing outreach materials, and representing our team during face-to-face engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination: Assist with organizing, setting up, and staffing events such as town halls, workshops, public meetings, and community fairs.
Public Engagement: Serve as a friendly and informed representative of our organization by engaging attendees, answering questions, and collecting valuable feedback.
Outreach Material Preparation: Help create and organize flyers, brochures, signs, and handouts for public events.
Community Scheduling: Coordinate event logistics by confirming times, venues, and partner participation.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with different departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging at every event.
Post-Event Follow-Up: Assist in gathering feedback, compiling contact lists, and contributing to event reports to measure outreach success.
