Job Description Inframark is looking for an Electricial Instrumentation Technician. Salary range is $40-50/hr depending on level of experience. Candidate must obtain a CWEA Electrical & Instrumentation Technologist Grade 1 Certification. Under the general direction of Project Manager and/or Lead Operator, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the wastewater/water treatment plant electrical/instrumentation equipment, pump station electrical/instrumentation equipment and performs related work as required. **_Education/Equivalent:_** + High School Diploma or equivalent is required. + Completion of Apprenticeship Program and/or Vocational Degree or equivalent is preferred. + Valid CA Driver's License and the ability to meet risk management guidelines is required. **_Work Experience Needed_** **_:_** + Minimum 2 years operational experience in a heavy industrial environment. + Working experience of a 460V 3-phase systems, PLC controls, computer SCADA systems, open and close loop controls, preventive/corrective maintenance tasks, calibration of plant instrumentation. + Working experience with both power and control circuits. + Working experience to effectively read electrical wiring and ladder schematics. **_Special Skills/Abilities Needed:_** + Must have knowledge of SCADA instrumentation and controls. + Familiarity and adherence to all environmental and safety compliance regulations. + Ability to work independently and prioritize work activities. + Ability to work with all levels of personnel. + Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, and familiarity with MP2 maintenance programs. **_Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:_** + Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment malfunctions. + Will have the ability to react to unplanned events and emergency situations. + Inspect and calibrate plant equipment. + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment according to manufacturers' and UW recommended Best Maintenance Practices. + Install various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices and observe safe work practices. + Performs general administration and maintenance of plant SCADA equipment including HMI and PLC equipment. **_Essential Functions:_** **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
