Job Description
The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine physician-scientist to join the full-time faculty. This faculty search is open rank and would be in the University Medical Line. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experiences of the successful candidate.
Stanford University and Stanford HealthCare are committed to improving patient care through excellence in image based clinical care, education of future radiologists, and translational research. A significant research commitment is part of the job description. Responsibilities of the new faculty will include clinical interpretation of all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including SPECT and PET, as well as participation in the Nuclear Medicine therapy service. The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging has state-of-the-art SPECT-CT, PET-CT and PET-MRI scanners, as well as a Theragnostics Clinic. Dedicated targeted radionuclide therapy rooms are also available in the hospital for inpatient stays. We are seeking a candidate who will run an active wet lab with a focus on developing translational molecular imaging strategies.
The successful candidate will also be expected to teach medical students, residents, and fellows in radiology. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in nuclear medicine and have demonstrated or shown potential for an outstanding track record of research productivity. The qualified candidate must have a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent.

**Salary Range:**
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $390,000 - $408,000
Associate Professor: $423,000 - $441,000
Professor: $461,000 - $479,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
