About California QSR Management Inc. Founded in 2019, California QSR Management Inc. is a fast-growing multi-unit franchise operator headquartered in Fresno, CA. Our current portfolio of franchises includes five Popeyes restaurants in Fresno, one in San Diego and one in Turlock. Additional franchises slated for opening in 2023 include up to 5 Papa John’s locations in central California.

We are seeking a Maintenance- Repair Technician. You will perform necessary work to keep HVAC, Kitchen equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair. The technician must have working knowledge and experience in repair and installation of commercial food service equipment and general building/property maintenance and repair.

The technician will need to be able to provide emergency unscheduled repairs of restaurant equipment during hours of operation and per scheduled maintenance repairs of the restaurant equipment during non-peak hours, as appropriate.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintaining appearance of franchise standards
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Diagnose commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment performance such as fryers, grills, coolers and ice machines through observation, testing and setup.
• Disassemble and re-assemble equipment to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration and/or repair.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to perform service of the unit..
• Work independently, under pressure, and without close supervision; willing and able to consistently work the schedule required by job demands.
• Provide superior maintenance to interior and exterior of restaurant timely and accurately Complete daily, weekly and monthly jobs timely and accurately
• Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively
• General carpentry
• Painting
• Plumbing
• Replace light bulbs
• Change air filters
• Patch and repair walls and roof.
• Electrical maintenance of lights, lighting fixtures, receptacles, and breaker boxes.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Exterior maintenance including parking lots, lighting, etc.
• Knows where and how to use the emergency Shut Off switch for water, gas as well as how to use a fire extinguisher properly and safely.
• Reports any safety problems immediately to the Brand Director
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job duties.
• Must be able to have full body rotation/mobility
• Must be able to climb a 12-foot ladder for maintaining light bulbs and air vents.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to push and pull equipment & fixtures.
• Must have full hand usage to operate hand tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Experience: 2-4 years minimum
• Commercial maintenance repair experience, restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
