Description: **ABOUT THE ROLE** Performs various tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems of the cement plant. **WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH** + Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the cement plant (i.e. Instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, low and medium voltage drives, monitoring analyzers). + Schematic reading and instrumentation calibration. + Digital and Analog PLC program use in troubleshooting. + Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating. + Basic mechanical activities such as non-critical welding and laser alignment. + Perform walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks. + Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. + Other duties, as assigned. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** **Required Education:** High School Diploma/GED **Additional Education Preferred:** Associates, Technical Degree **Field of Study Preferred:** Electrical **Required Work Experience:** 5 years of industrial experience with instrumentation + Ability to work independently + Mathematical ability + High degree of accuracy + The ability to operate electrical test equipment **Required Computer and Software Skills:** General computer proficiency **Additional Requirements:** + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
