All the while, you can be the kind of lawyer you want to be. Compensation- $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience plus performance bonuses Responsibilities:

• Be the primary attorney assigned to our Spanish-speaking clients.
• Handle a manageable caseload of misdemeanors and felonies. *You will start with about 50 cases and steadily increase your case load to full capacity, depending on the complexity of your various cases and a healthy work-life integration.
• Help your client’s win at life – you will have autonomy to pursue the best defense for the client’s ultimate goal.
• Courtroom exposure – You will be negotiating plea offers and litigating cases. Your preparation is critical, but your ability to think on your feet and communicate well is tantamount to your success in this position.
• Conduct extensive research and analysis on a diverse array of criminal cases. Use AI to assist in your research, case preparation, communications, and a multitude of other areas.
• Craft persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Collaborate – you will be working directly with Associate Attorney, Jeff Delman, owner George Reres, and our administrative staff. Organization and a clear strategy on each case will be vital.

Qualifications:

• Speak Spanish fluently
• Have tried at least 10 jury trials to verdict, the more the better.
• Have a Juris Doctorate, be licensed by the Florida Bar, and have at least 3 years of experience representing clients in criminal courts.
• Radiate empathy and build profound connections with clients, colleagues, and legal professionals, forging relationships grounded in trust and understanding.
• Possess exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills, honed to perfection, allowing you to navigate the legal landscape with finesse.
• Embody the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct, always championing justice and fairness.
• Thrive under pressure, expertly managing multiple cases without sacrificing the quality and attention to detail that sets you apart.
• Be open to rapidly integrating the latest technology in law firm administration, case management, and legal research.
