Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join a unique and growing firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee the training and development of associates and senior associates

  • Review federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit entities

  • Selectively prepare complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit entities

  • Manage engagements, including client communications/requests and reviewing the work of associates/seniors

  • Prepare/review tax projections and other tax planning engagements

  • Conduct tax research and prepare memos outlining findings and conclusions

  • Assist with responses to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices

  • Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by Partners

Skills & Qualifications:
  • CPA licensure required

  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in public accounting

  • Experience with compilations and reviews of financial statements is a plus

  • Excellent time management, accounting, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking
