We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and creative Event Coordinator to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events across multiple states to support the organization's mission and programs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and experience managing events within the healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities
+ Plan, organize, and execute a range of large-scale and boutique events, including fundraising events, conferences, training sessions, community outreach programs, and stakeholder meetings.
+ Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venues, contractors, permits, vendors, registration, and virtual event platforms (if applicable).
+ Work across multiple states to ensure successful planning and delivery of events, adhering to specific local and state guidelines related to healthcare and nonprofit regulations.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to develop event goals and align activities with the organization's mission.
+ Create and manage budgets for events, ensuring cost efficiency and staying within financial constraints.
+ Develop event promotion plans in collaboration with the marketing/communications team to maximize attendance and visibility.
+ Analyze event feedback and post-event data to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Ensure that all events comply with healthcare and nonprofit-specific regulations, including HIPAA compliance where required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Nonprofit Administration, or related field preferred.
+ 3+ years of professional experience planning and managing events, with at least 2 years within a nonprofit healthcare organization spanning multiple states.
+ Experience coordinating multi-state events and navigating varying regulatory and logistical requirements.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
+ Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management skills.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency with event management tools and technologies (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.) and CRM systems.
+ Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising strategies and practices, such as donor stewardship events, is a plus.
